Are you looking for a way to increase your chances of pregnancy naturally?
Do you want to learn more about how your body functions, and be able to tell when you are fertile or infertile each cycle around ovulation?
Do you want to investigate more holistic ways of living and improving your health and fertility?
If you sign up to one of the pregnancy achieving programs that’s exactly what you’ll get!
I teach the fertility awareness method of birth control, specifically the Justisse Method. When practiced correctly, fertility awareness methods are the best way to improve your hormonal health and increase your chances of a successful pregnancy!
By using this method you will:
- Be able to identify ovulation;
- Know how long sperm lives (up to 5 days) and what that means for you;
- Identify when you are able to get pregnant during your menstrual cycle;
- Understand your unique pattern of fertility (even if you have irregular cycles) and how this affects your chances of pregnancy;
- Address common causes of infertility, improve your fertility, and reduce the chances of needing medical interventions;
- Identify what a healthy cycle looks like and how to improve your hormonal balance through natural diet and lifestyle changes;
- Know when is the best time to test for pregnancy, and even know if you are pregnant before taking a test; and
- Determine the most accurate estimated due date for your baby.
How does it work?
Our bodies are pretty amazing! Did you know your cervix produces a mucus as you get close to ovulation, and sperm can live in this mucus up to five (5) days! As well, your temperature is lower before ovulation and higher after ovulation, so taking your temperature every day can tell you when ovulation has passed!
By learning to observe, chart, and interpret your mucus and temperature on a menstrual cycle chart you can effectively know every single day if sex could lead to pregnancy. This will allow you to know the best time to have sex for the best chances of a successful pregnancy.
If you sign up for one of the pregnancy achieving programs you will learn how to observe your mucus and you will be able to answer the question every day: “Am I fertile?”
My clients are often amazed at what they didn’t know about their bodies before working with me, and most find that learning to chart their cycles is not only incredibly useful for pregnancy planning, but also incredibly empowering.
How can you know when you’re ovulating?
Fertility Awareness is a great way to truly understand your body and know exactly when the best time to have sex for the best chances of a successful pregnancy is during your cycle. This is done by keeping track of and interpreting your unique signs of fertility. Your body produces cervical mucus as you approach ovulation, so learning to observe and interpret this allows you to know when you can get pregnant and when you can’t. This method is based on years of research and is incredibly effective. The fact is, research shows that most people who think they know when they are ovulating are actually miscalculating the dates!
Isn’t this just the Rhythm Method? Can’t I just have sex every few days or around the middle of my cycle to get pregnant?
Potentially sex every few days could lead to pregnancy, but it’s important to keep in mind that the Rhythm Method is based on calendar calculations of past cycles to predict future cycles and does not take into account your unique physiology or the variability of your particular pattern of fertility (i.e. cycles are not all 28 days, many people don’t ovulate on day 14, and things like stress, illness, and hormonal imbalance can affect fertility). With the fertility awareness method, you will observe your own body, and know every day if you are fertile based on what you see.
Will this work for me even if I have irregular cycles? Or if I’m breastfeeding?
Yes, anybody with any kind of cycle can use the fertility awareness method because it does not make predictions and is based on your own body’s unique signs of fertility. You will learn to observe and chart your unique menstrual cycle, and, regardless of how long or irregular it is, by following the rules you will know when you are fertile and when you ovulate in each cycle.
What my clients are saying:
“Allison was very thorough and non-judgmental which is important to me. She was quick to research my questions and respond with a lot of detail and recommendations. It has been very interesting seeing what my body is doing and that is does follow a pattern each month. It has been a good reference for us to know when I am ovulating, when I am not and the temperature trends and what they implicate.” – Rachel, Vancouver, trying to conceive*
“I was expecting months of constant sex, but the first time I knew I was ovulating I conceived. We were able to save our energy for the second trimester.” – Maya, Vancouver, trying to conceive*
