This Valentine’s Day I want you to take a moment to think about how you can show yourself more love in your daily life.
A huge part of my work is empowering people to truly understand how their bodies work, and I see this, and what often follows from it, as the best gift you can give yourself in life.
The fact is that most of us go through a lot of life on autopilot, never stopping to think about how we are living affects our health.
One of the amazing benefits from learning the fertility awareness method is that it allows us to really examine our lives and how what we do affects our body, our health, and our quality of life.
Often people come to me to learn how to use the method for birth control, with no other intentions. But what ends up happening is pretty amazing!
Once they learn fertility awareness and see their charts as a diagnostic tool and their menstrual cycle as the fifth vital sign of health, they can see a whole lot more information about what’s going on in their bodies. They start to understand how the food they eat and lifestyle they live truly does affect their health and hormone balance.
And simply by virtue of wanting to improve hormonal health it leads to a deeper understanding of what the body needs to be healthy and how to accomplish that. People who may not have been planning to make any changes in their life, start eating better, sleeping better, relaxing more, and having an overall improved quality of life.
